Bertie, the first of our mini-beasties, is far from the cross fellow some believe him to be.
Never happier than when he’s bumbling around a flower border and is a welcome visiter in our garden any time.
He’s captured here using a traditional calligraphy dip pen and Japanese ink. Each illustration is created by building up thousands and thousands of textured strokes and marks.
